Saturn Air Ring Technology™ the air rings that began a revolution in 1978, introduces a New generation of air rings for blown film. With a history of superior design, the performance-proven Saturn air ring will meet and match the exact characteristics of any polymer.

This new air ring delivers segmented airflow to calculated circumferential areas. This thickness improvement system will offer simplicity and effectiveness. The Perfect Balance manual air ring enable operators to manually manipulate airflow to desired points, increase low thickness areas to improve yield of a high quality film.

The Saturn Perfect Balance manual system can be upgraded to a fully Automatic profiling air ring, as an option.

The Saturn Perfect balance air ring works with stationary, rotating and oscillating dies.

Design:

Manufactured from light and rigid aluminum components for durability.
The advanced dual lip design maintains the control that is necessary to produce improved roll geometry, thickness control and bubble stability. This design will maximize the cooling rate and utilize maximum blower efficiency with proven gauge deviation reduction.
The extended height geometry of the Bubble Cone controls bubble stability and maximizes airflow control. The Adjustable Chimney also allows customized control of the airflow through the gate.
Profiling system based on circumferential segments installed as an integral part of the air ring.
Airflow to the segments is integrated from the main chamber supply.
Individual gates control the airflow volume and velocity to each segment (no additional blowers required.)
