The Bubble Width Control System incorporates three ultrasonic sensor modules, equally spaced around the blown film bubble, to continuously monitor the size of the bubble stalk. The unit monitors and intervenes when necessary, to maintain or modify the size of the bubble to acquire desired layflat. This will enable the blown film line to consistently produce uniform film widths.
