Future Design's relentless pursuit of quality leads to the innovative design for the Saturn Bubble Glide blown film tracking system. Bubble Cages have certainly improved the tracking of the bubble, but at a cost that makes it unattainable for some processors. The Bubble Glide system is our innovative concept that has proven to be the missing link in our quest for quality and repeatability. With a single lever, the operator can adjust the Bubble Glide to meet the exact diameter of the bubble. This maintains all points to be concentric with the centerline with adjustments for the height and diameter to suit any production requirements.

Design:

• The Bubble Glide is engineered on the principle of two stationary rings and two revolving rings.
• Vertical posts with customized levels of horizontal rods integrate the rings. The rods house frictionless thermoplastic contact rollers.
• Once the Bubble Glide system is plumb with the die and top nip rollers, the possibility of this unit being misaligned, is virtually eliminated.
