The Saturn Maximizer Plus air ring with adjustable bubble gate is the latest generation of duplex flow cooling for blown film, with the facility to fine-tune the airflow at the lip. This allows the advantage of matching the particular characteristics of the processor’s unique blend of polymers.

Design

• Completely manufactured from aircraft-grade cast aluminum components.
• The advanced dual lip design maintains the control necessary to produce improved roll geometry, thickness control and bubble stability. This design will maximize the cooling rate and utilize maximum blower efficiency with proven gauge deviation reduction.
• The extended height geometry of the Bubble Cone controls bubble stability and maximizes airflow control. The Adjustable Chimney also allows customized control of the airflow through the gate.
• The Forming Cone of the Maximizer Plus has been redesigned to provide the exact balance of volume and velocity required to process the widest range of polymers.

Application

• We have redesigned the lipset of the Saturn air ring to accommodate the demands of new polymers and combinations, faster running speeds and tighter film tolerances. Suitable for running low melt-strength materials at higher blow-up ratios.
